Purpose Groups at Hilton Church

Whilst we do have elders as you would expect, we have recently introduced a number of what we call 'Purpose Groups'. In this we try to recognise the different areas within church life and the fact that different folk have different giftings and aptitude. The Mission statement below has been introduced to help us keep our focus because we recognise we just cannot do everything.

Our Mission Statement: "As gifted by the Father, and following the leading of His Spirit, we seek the building up of Christ's church in love, reaching out with the Good News of Jesus Christ to the community of Hilton and beyond, all for God's glory".

You can see that we try to take account of our gifting and Gods leading in what we do and we have five groups that attempt to cover the main areas of responsibility within church life. These are;
